Litter Control Programs
Litter Hotline
This program, which began April, 2000, offers local residents
the opportunity to report roadway littering throughout the county,
The program serves as a reminder to the public that littering is
illegal and thus brings about a positive change in their behavior.

The Vehicle's License Plate Number |
| Make and color of vehicle |
Brief description of what was seen |
Step 3 - Actions that will be taken

KBB will submit a daily report to the
Brevard County Sheriff's Office. |
Sheriff's Office will prepare a letter
and mail it to the owner of the vehicle. |
| The letter will inform the owner that on a particular
day, time, and place, someone in their vehicle was observed
littering. |
| The letter will serve as a reminder that littering is
illegal and similar incidents may result in fines if witnessed
by a law enforcement officer. |
